Today, I will tell you of a big summertime activity here at our house. I think I will try telling the story with photos!

Tomatoes     [with some cute squash, zucchini, and cucumbers!]

Nathan's Squash [I'm not really sure what they are called but they sure are fun to play with! :]

Now you know what it looks like but, as with most things in life, there is behind-the-scenes work, so i will endeavor to give you the schedule for that.

Wake Up: 5:30-6:00 [whenever you can pull yourself out of bed!]

Pick Corn: 5:45-7:30 [all depending on wake-up and amount of corn needing picked]

Come in: 7:00-7:30

We love sweet corn, especially silver queen, if you have never picked it, or in the morning, it is tall and the dewy leaves slap face and hair and leave you quite soaked!

Then you get to eat it! This step is definitely a favorite pastime for us!
