For Christmas we got a "family gift". With our large family it was more geared for the middle children but all can try..if they desire too! I am sure the trips and Polly will be pros when they get big enough and I am not sure if Bets, Em, and I will ever master it. What is this gift you ask?
a ripstick
and a ripter [a wee bit smaller ripstick]
How do you ride such a thing?
First, you clear the garage of all vehicles and move anything in your way to the walls.
Next, if you want a challenge [as if figuring out how to make the thing go isn't a challenge enough!!!] you set up an obstacle course.
Then, you go and go.
And, in time, you learn how to master riding a ripstick.
If you are having problems you copy Miss Annie, over there by the garage door [aka something to grip on to so you will not fall! :].
Have I mastered it yet? No way! I think the distance of how far I would fall if I fell is making all temptation of trying flee. I guess I could do like Papa did and use broomsticks kinda like ski poles! Or maybe I will just stick to scooters and bicycles!
Have a lovely day living for our awesomely wonderful Lord!
Blessings! Carrie Lynn
