This might be the longest blog post I have ever posted. Jus' sayin'. A few weeks ago [isn't that how it always is? :] our fellowship district had a camp out. Friday to Sunday. Poor Farmers Campground [so those who didn't "camp" could still come]. It was a BLAST!!!!! Soooooo much fun! So here goes on the longest blog post.......This is how much fun we had..........
campfires..three to be exact
popcorn..o so yummy popcorn..I'm almost positive I have never ate so much in my life in one setting..it was soo good..just couldn't put it down!
food. lots and lots of it. This is breakfast..Sausage Gravy & Biscuits and Fresh Fruit.

Opposite Role Relay
The women had to pound a nail into a board and the men had to put a pillowcase on the pillow and then take it back off. Then we switched. The nail hammering won both times so that means house work is harder, right? I am so thankful God has placed the roles this way..I would rather do house work anyways!
Yes....we are white men!!!! For an fyi..it was not like that all weekend..just this once!

All those couples did such an awesome job with providing us with a weekend we all enjoyed.

We had an o-so-wonderful weekend. It is so down-to-earth and comfortable to go camping with people you normally just see in church and around town and such. Everyone was so much more relaxed and our busy lives were put on hold and we could TALK..about anything and everything if we desired. The photos showed that so much..it was so very truly wonderful! Thank You Lord for providing us with church families!Blessings! Carrie Lynn
