Art Class. I thought it would be fun to try teaching so, while Mama goes to Bible study I teach art. For the most part we make cards for family members with upcoming birthdays..big family = Card Day once a month!..but on other occasions we do themes to clip onto the cable that runs across the school room.

Theme: Learning About Color
If you mix red and blue what do you get?
What does adding white do? What does adding black do?
I remember doing this in elementary school and being very intrigued, therefore I wanted to teach my scholars about color! I am not totally positive they found it as amazing as I once did but it is valuable information [I will admit to equalizing it with math and grammar!!] they might be glad to know one day! To be able to come up with that perfect color by using a mixture with red, yellow, blue, black, and/or white!

I thought I photographed Scholar Ellie also but obviously i did not!

What do you think? They just might be the next Picasso's! Well, probably not but hopefully "arting" will stimulate their young minds. It is also a fun bonding time..and teaching practice!
Blessings! Carrie Lynn
