At Kyle and Emily's wedding we took time to take a five generation photo. This photo is fun not only because it is five generations but Grama is her mama's oldest girl, and Mama is Grama's oldest [girl], Betsy is Mama's, and Olivia is Betsy's. Another cool thing is that in this family the other great-great grandchild is a boy and it is the same oldest son scenario. Just some fun facts for you!

Anyways, enjoy your families! Even if the older people seem old and no fun. They were young once, they travelled life just like you did. Yes, a different time frame but they still travelled life. They were a teen once, a new mother once, a grandmother once. Really they have so much wisdom to share with us, just if we will sit down and listen. And take it to heart! Don't pass it from one ear to the other and make no pit-stop in the brain. One day you will most likely be there too, how do you want to be treated then? [Ouch! Stepping on my own toes here!] Aren't families a blessing from God? Oh yes, they are!
