6 December 2011

To continue their busy summer they went to the South for a family reunion.
On the way they stopped at Mama's brother's.
They live "back the holler" where Mama's dad grew up.

Now for the family reunion. It was for Papa's Dad's family. There are 14 of them and most are still living. To tell you the truth I memorized their order when I was like 10. To say the least I was very pleased with myself.
I put both photos..just to show thier onery-ness. Believe me they fit the bill quite well, especially the boys.
Dorothy, Arthur, Suzy, Sam, Ezra, Joe, Riley, Dora, and Roy
With their spouces.

Oh! You want to know the names of the ones in Heaven? How about I give you the whole list..Ena, Dorothy, Ruth, Ruby, Robert, Arthur, Suzy, Sam, Ezra, Joe, Lydia, Riley, Dora, Roy
[some things you just never forget :]

Now for their families..
 Dorothy
 Ruth
 Ruby
I guess none of Uncle Robert's family showed up..
 Uncle Arthur
 Suzy
 Sam
 Ezra
 Joe
 Lydia
Aunt Lydia [affectionately called Lidi] went to be with Jesus several years ago and a couple years after that her husband remarried so we invited his new wife to the family.
 Riley
 Dora
 Roy
As a disclaimer..though this big family loves to tease us about it Papa and Mama are not trying to catch up to Grapa Cline and Grama Maggie. Papa and Mama gave their child-bearing and spacing to God so it is whatever He decides! :]

At the reunion they also had a trackless train. So fun..as you can see!
 Julie & Mylan
 Caboose
 Janie & Orrin
 Julie & Josie
the train driver
I will end with a sweet little photo..for sweet memories made!
Their journey continues on..though not as much traveling..more to come!
Blessings! Carrie Lynn
